PRAVESH BADGE:
It
is a yellow fluer-de-lis on green background. The three petals stand
for the three parts of the promise. The Ashoka Chakra stands for
consistent progress and awakening. The guide trefoil superimposed
on scout emblem indicates the combined organization of scouts and
guides in India. The three petals at the bottom are bound with a
band showing brotherly bond. Scouts
in the center of the left patch pocket wear this badge while guides wear it in the middle
of the left sleeve. The Fleur-de-lis is adopted from the North point
of compass showing the right way for good going. The three petals
stand for the three parts of the promise.
WORLD SCOUT BADGE:
White
emblem on purple background worn in the center of the right patch
pocket. The emblem is encircled with a white cord. The ends of
the cord are tied with a reef knot showing world brotherhood.
WORLD GUIDE BADGE:
It is on dark blue
background. It is made of metal showing a trefoil. It shows world
sisterhood.
